Making the Cut: Paul Chaplo selected as Featured Author
for Texas Book Festival 2021

I have been selected to be a featured author at Texas Book Festival 2021, the premier book and authors' event in the state! I will be presenting my new book "Amarillo Flights: Aerial Views of Llano Estacado Country." This will be my second appearance!

Special thanks to the #TXBookFest team, event sponsors AT&T and HEB, my publisher #TAMUPress, and my exhibition sponsor #RedRiverPaper of Dallas makers of fine art papers for photographers. The entire Amarillo Flights traveling exhibition is printed on #RRP Palo Duro Softgloss paper! The exhibit is currently on view at the Lea Co. Museum in New Mexico. I hope to find a venue in Austin for the next showing! ...more soon!

Signed books will be available at People's Book in Austin, and from me! Great gifts for your Texana lover to read this winter!

The Amarillo Flights touring exhibition at PPHM

The Amarillo Flights exhibit by Paul Chaplo is available for the next venue! There are thirty-eight large color fine art landscape photographs, a map, and artist's statement. Embedded in the fine art images are many historic sites which suggest many interpretive possibilities! Here is a view of the installation at the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, where it recently completed a six-month showing, along with a book signing! Paired with the book from Texas A&M University Press, this show is a great package of art, history, and author events!
