Paul Chaplo's "Marfa Flights" Session at the Texas State Historical Association Annual Meeting

Do you love Texas History and fine art landscape photography? Wonder how the Chisos Mountains look from the air or the topography that surrounds the Presidio San Vicente site? Join us for en exciting session at the Texas State Historical Association (TSHA) Annual Meeting in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 5-7. My session, "Marfa Flights: Aerial Views of Big Bend Country" is scheduled for Thursday, March 5 at 3:30 pm in the Nueces A ballroom. The two-paper session will features T. Lindsay Baker (W.K. Gordon Endowed Chair in Texas History) presiding as chair and commentator, and Larry Francell (who wrote the introduction to my book) co-presenting a second paper titled "Writing in the Air from on the Ground," while I present "Marfa Flights: Photographing Big Bend from a Cessna." It is an honor to be presenting a session in collaboration with Dr. Baker and Mr. Francell. If you love Texas history this is a must-see!
